As with most educational establishments change is often and sometimes dramatic. An element of the business model dealt with educators who have a larger role to play in the organisational structure of their establishment needing assistance in managing the changes. Changes that they wish for or that are being imposed on them.
techTRANSFER.
Mandarin were also given the brief that new technology should be a focus of the company. Concentration on existing technologies is one thing but to really push education forward Sama wanted to concentrate on the classroom of tomorrow.
Development.
As with any corporate identity project after the logo was developed a range of stationery was also produced in line with the message the company wanted to portray.
Branding.
Producing a logo and a corporate identity that encompasses the Arabic look but with western characters is a challenging task. The logo had to work seamlessly across both scripts whilst embracing the nature of the word sama which in Arabic means sky.
careerPLAN.
Part of the task was to provide an area for educationalists to be able to refer to when they want to further their career. It provides an unbiased and solid knowledge base for educators that need a little more direction and help with moving forward.
eduCARE.
Educare is a blend of ensuring that we take care of every child that we come into contact with. Looking at the concept of all students in together provides a holistic but inclusive education for all students involved. This area of the website and corporate message is that all the children matter.
About This Project
SAMA
Mandarin has been working with Sama on their corporate identity and their website. Tasked with the brief of developing the educational concept that Sama want to deliver to their customers.
Mandarin tried to marry the two different cultures, Europe and the Gulf. Educational values that have proved successful in European countries being implemented in schools and educational establishments in Saudi Arabia.
A focus on the companies idea of eduCARE dealing with the care and attention a child needs in their education with a focus on children with special educational needs.
