Neurofeedback.
Mandarin installed two neurofeedback machines which are designed to monitor brain activity. The cutting edge technology was really important in order to present the patients with an extra dimension for therapy and diagnosis. The system allow patients to play games while a Psychologist monitors their brain activity.
Monitoring.
As part of the therapy it is important to observe how the patients interact in certain situations. Mandarin installed and programmed PoE Cameras in every room which allows doctors, psychologists and parents to observe tehir children as part of the diagnosis and therapy treatment. It also proves parents with the opportunity to observe their children in a more natural environment.
Transparency.
Communication with the parents and customers is key when dealing with the delicate subject of ADHD. We installed flat screen monitors hooked up to Apple TV’s in all of the treatment rooms in the centre. As well as the six screens in the waiting area. The screens were installed to be able to present their findings to the parents.
Apple Mac Network.
Saudi Arabia businesses still tend to use PC's and PC networks. An aspect that was interesting to introduce was a complete Apple Network. Something mostly unheard of in Riyadh. The Apple network was set up and installed by Mandarin to follow the corporate identity concept that was developed right at the start of the project.
Macpractice.
Macpractice currently has only one customer working in Saudi Arabia which is of course the Circle of Integration. There were a lot of challenges that Mandarin faced bringing the two cultures together. A predominantly American system being married up to a Saudi system was not and easy challenge.
Therapy.
Part of the remit of the centre is to offer therapy to its young patients. These include Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Sport Therapy and many more. Part of the role of Mandarin was to devise a solution to organise how and when the sessions would take place. Mandarin teamed up with the company Macpractice to do this.
About This Project
Circle of Integration
Circle of Integration is an ongoing project that has directly advanced the provision for special educational needs in Saudi Arabia. ADHD Centre Riyadh is the first centre that has been set up specifically for children with ADHD and other disorders.
Mandarin was part of this project from the beginning and has played a key role in its development. From conception through building to opening.
The entire IT infrastructure was designed and developed by us to allow technology to play a key role in the treatment of the patients.
Technologies such as Neurofeedback machines as well as networked screens in every room and an Apple Network which is pretty rare in Saudi Arabia.
Mandarin has also had a part to play in the corporate identity of the company as and advisory role.
